Wednesday Everybody Trail Rides

Fall 2004

Sandy initiated these Wednesday rides, but plans to share the leadership if there is enough interest to continue on a regular basis.  Come join us next Wednesday!  We start at 9:30 from Dawson Terrace Community Center. (For directions and a map, click here.) The rides are mostly on trails and riders of all speeds are welcome.  Sometimes we spread out along the trail, but always keep a buddy in sight.  Typical routes include riding to Bethesda on the Capital Crescent Trail, riding to Vienna on the W&OD, riding to Old Town Alexandria on the Mount Vernon Trail, and riding the loop around Arlington.

September 22:  Seven babes rode on this gorgeous day, but Beth B, Nancy N, and Lynn left before the photos were taken.  We rode to Old Town Alexandria and then over the river to the opening of the National Museum of the American Indian

October 6:  Five babes rode the 18-mile loop around Arlington; we enjoyed both gorgeous weather and pleasant conversation.

October 27: Another loop around Arlington day.  Two Vickies, Sandy, and Joan started, but Joan turned around before the photos were taken.
