Leesburg Lunch Ride

| Instead of our annual Lake Needwood ride, this year we rode to Leesburg, VA. Thirteen babes met at a picnic area in Leesburg for lunch. Joan, Karen, Marla, and Vickie K rode the 80 mile White's Ferry Circuit from Arlington through Potomac, MD, crossed the river on the ferry, and back to Arlington on the W&OD. Claudia, Susan, Ginny, and Judy rode out the W&OD from Vienna past Leesburg for a total of 50 miles. Vicki F, Marsha rode from Herndon for a total of 26 miles. Sandy also started in Herndon, but rode back to Arlington with Karen for a total of 50 miles. Beth and Linda drove to Leesburg for lunch and brought cold water, fruit, and candy for everyone. We bought lunch at a deli that Anne scouted for us ahead of time. | |||
