MS150 Team: Babes and Babe Magnets on Bikes (BBMOB)

BBMOB Wins Awards at the 2006 MS Ride Celebration! 
 
The annual post MS150 ride celebration was held in August 2006.  Many riders gathered to toast the success of the ride, which raised over $500,000 raised for the National MS Society Capital Chapter.  
 
The Babes and Babe Magnets on Bikes (BBMOB) walked away from the evening with several top awards for teams.  After seven years participating as a team, we have raised over $176,000. We are most proud of winning a plaque for raising the most money of all of the registered teams.   
 
Last year we also won a new award, the golden chain award, that was presented to the team with the most spirit.  Since we wear flamingo boppers on our helmets, give leis and flamingo lollipops to other riders along the route, and since we host a little party among our palm trees and flamingoes at the camp site, it's no wonder that we are the most spirited team of all.  

Here's to the BBMOB and the MS Society for another successful fundraising year!

JOIN THE TEAM
We're now a 50-member team, and growing!  2005 was our 6th year riding as a team!  Take a look at the pictures from our rides and you'll get an idea why.  We have fun!  We also are serious about raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Our team has raised over $100,000 in five years; $41,000 in 2005.  About a dozen members of our team are always in the top fundraisers group!
